Turmeric4U and Mango Bliss Balls Recipe

Healthy food can be irresistible, and once you've tried this recipe you'll understand why they're called BLISS balls! And what a great way to snack healthily!


And why not add to the bliss with this beautiful organic turmeric chai for a delightful afternoon tea?



MANGO BLISS BALLS RECIPE


  • 1 cup cashews

  • 150g dried mango (now is the time to get beautiful fresh mangos)

  • 1/4 cup rice malt syrup

  • 2/3 cup desiccated coconut

  • 2 tbsp. coconut flour

  • 1 tsp. vanilla paste (or use vanilla essence)

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 4 tsp Turmeric4U



METHOD


  1. Soak cashews and mango (if using dried) for 30 minutes, drain.

  2. In a blender or food processor, process cashews, mango and rice malt syrup until well combined.

  3. Add desiccated coconut and continue processing.

  4. Scrape mixture into a bowl and stir through coconut flour, vanilla paste (or essence), lime juice and Turmeric4U.

  5. Roll into balls, and then roll in additional coconut.

  6. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze.
