Before using any new health product for your pets it’s important that you check with your vet to ensure that it’s fine for your animal.
Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory compound that is used in fighting infection and inflammation, not just for humans but this is true as well for dogs, horses, cows, goats etc. Cats – as much as I love them - can be a bit idiosyncratic, so please double check with your vet before giving it to a feline friend.
The black pepper within our Turmeric blend increases up to 20 times the bioavailability of the compound curcumin-found in turmeric.
Turmeric can help with a wide range of issues for our pets (see image):
Turmeric Blends does not dissolve totally in water but does dissolve in oil. Mix into their meals, easily mixed with wet foods, stir into water or milk. Add up to a quarter of a teaspoon Turmeric Blends per day for every 4.5kg (10 pounds) of your pet’s weight.
Turmeric Blends dosage recommendations based on 18 kg (40 pounds).
1/4 teaspoon for 1 week then 1/2 teaspoon for 3 weeks build up to
3/4 teaspoon for 3 weeks and then continue with 1 teaspoon daily
For dogs of other sizes see our Dosage Guidelines. With all pets, it’s best to start gradually as, just like humans, turmeric can give them loose stools.
Serving suggestions

Mixed with milk or yogurt – another winning recipe
Made into a paste with a bit of oil – preferably coconut oil
Mixed with some peanut butter – make sure you use the full fat variety.
Giving your pet Turmeric Blends on a regular basis will not harm them!! The benefits can be great.
