Highly nutritious, Hemp is also used to treat constipation, high cholesterol, eczema, arthritis, and many other conditions. Let's use Hemp in salads!
¼ cup Hemp Oil
4 cloves garlic – crushed
¼ cup white wine vinegar
good pinch of black pepper
HEMP OIL VINAIGRETTE SALAD DRESSING
3 tbsp Hemp Oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic – crushed
Salt and fresh black pepper to taste
Whisk all the ingredients together until evenly blended. Adjust seasoning. If you have any fresh herbs, you can mince them up and add about ¾ teaspoon to the dressing. Shake well and use on your salad.
HONEY MUSTARD HEMP DRESSING
1 cup Hulled Hemp Seeds
½ cup water
1 lemon – juiced
¼ cup Dijon mustard
2 tbsp raw honey
½ tsp sea salt
Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth and creamy. Use immediately or store in the fridge in an air-tight container. It will last up to 5 days. It firms up in the fridge and can be used as a great sandwich spread or dip.
You can simply sprinkle a handful of the hemp seeds over your salad, cereal or porridge for a great nutty taste. Also, wonderful as the outer layer for the turmeric bliss balls, sprinkled over roast veggies or even scrambled eggs. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy. 😊
